Hey!
I’m Lucas Van Hofwegen. I am a graphic designer with a degree in Digital Media from Northwest Nazarene University. I started my time at NNU in Business Management. I quickly realized that I needed something project based and switched on over to Digital Media where I learned two of my new favorite things!... Graphic Design & Marketing.
Since then, I have developed many skills like creating graphics, packaging, branding, and more but the skills that have proved to be invaluable have been project management, communication, and leadership. These skills have lent me the desire to be an art director.
With my drive and enthusiasm along with my artistic problem solving skills makes for a killer combo when making vision come to life!
Designing is more than making something look good.
It's about building something people actually believe in. I bring creative energy and strategic thinking to every project, and I follow a process that's built to solve real problems, not just slap a logo together and call it a day.
I'm not the kind of designer you just hand a brief to and wait. I get in there with you, learn your world, and treat your brand like it actually matters, because it does. The best work comes from real collaboration, and that's exactly how I like to work.
At the end of the day, I care about the people I create with just as much as the work itself. When there's good energy, honesty, and a shared vision, the whole process becomes something pretty exciting. We cut through the noise, get bold with our ideas, and build something that actually moves your brand forward.

The Process
Every designer has something unique to them, a niche, a system, a way of seeing the world. But at the core of it all is that moment when something waiting to be discovered finally comes to life. That's the spark that ignites everything.
For me, the process starts with you. I jump in right alongside you, learning everything there is to know about your brand, your mission, and your vision. My goal is to understand it so deeply that I can reflect it back to the world in a way that's unmistakably yours.
That means real conversations, genuine connection, sketches, re-sketches, and a true partnership with the people who make it all possible. We push the boundaries of creativity together, get comfortable with bold ideas, and build something worth being proud of.
At the end of the day, we create because we were made to create for Him. Every gift, every skill, every spark of inspiration is something we've been entrusted with. And there's nothing more fulfilling than using it well.
